At Newhall we aim to provide all children in Key Stage 2 an opportunity to immerse themselves in a foreign language and the country’s culture. To achieve this, we follow the Language Angels Scheme to support the teaching and learning of French. The skills taught within each unit support learners to create complex, adventurous and amazing linguistic structures. We want to equip children with the skills and knowledge to hold a basic conversation in French and have the opportunity to apply these in the country. This could be the first opportunity to visit a foreign country for some children.
